Meet Nicholas
Welcome! My name is Nicholas Angus, and I am CD-ED’s new Mascot.
Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself. I love getting a new toy to take upstairs and put it to bed. My favorite toys are my squeakers and the ones that light up.
I really enjoy sitting at the dinner table quietly and patiently. I make sure to never beg, as I get more food that way! I love eating what my mom eats, real food!
I am always up for a drive in my mom’s sweet ride especially when she stops for a small vanilla cone or a couple of Timbits for me, she spoils me, and I love it.
I enjoy hiking too but not on hot days.
I must say I am quite the ladies’ man as I like to spread my love, however no-one compares to my mom’s love for me or her kisses. She has my heart.
I like to chase cats or birds…they don’t always understand my game though.
I enjoy watching people and other dogs, it interests me, and I try dearly to understand their behavior.
I don’t like loud noises like motorcycles or people speaking loudly.
I was adopted a few years ago from the Cape Breton SPCA. I was very skinny and had wiry hair and I wouldn’t eat at the shelter. It took me a while to get used to people as I had a rough past; however, thankfully I was adopted by CD-ED’s very own President as she seen me on the SPCA website.
After seeing me on the SPCA website she knew she had to have me, she jumped in her vehicle right away and drove to see me. She made it just in time too as someone was coming in 5 minutes behind her that wanted me too, but my mom had the application in first and was determined to give me the best life possible.
